Tavern "Stella"
Tavern "Stella"
At the end of the East side of the town, settled on the most lively road in the town, was the tavern "Stella". It's name comes from latin and means 'star'. The building is not really big. It is on two floors and has two sides which are separated with small tunnel. There is a large lantern above the tunnel which lights the area infront of the tavern.
Inside the tavern is really cosy and neat. There are two tables in the middle. In the left side there are stairs which leads to the second floor. The bar, which is not really big, is placed right next to the stairs. Left from the bar there is a special place where usually a small ensemble of people play music and entertain the guests of the tavern. The place is decorated in Medieval style.

He sneered at the thought. Why did he abstain from drinking in the first place? A server whisked by. Wondering aloud about the state of his drink. He shook his head in reply and she left him wondering in his foggy imagination. "To...hide...?" He narrowed his eyes, squinting at ancient lines of wood. Tracing them with his eyes, and then with hardened hands. "Beasts were never meant to leave the soil... He murmured as he leaned lazily on the side of his arm. "Can't even hold your own alcohol, Tarot? What a fool you've turned into. Looking to drink for relief."
He squeezed his eyes shut and groaned before sliding out of his seat. Regretting not finishing his drink, but remembering that he would feel even worse the next morning. His eyes searched the tavern for a friendly face, before he found support in his seat. Nothing. Indira. Gone. His sister. Gone. Who else was there...?

But...Darkened eyes of green. Well, they were familiar weren't they? Green... A rare color amongst humans and mutts alike. He watched as a tensed male sauntered into the room. His own mind too lost to notice why. But he'd calmly ordered a glass of wine. He snorted. "Some pompous ass with Indira's eyes." As if that fae would have even touched alcohol. And if she did, he'd think she'd like a light white wine, or a hearty beer. He could never tell with the healer. But then again, maybe she would have avoided it completely in favor of her health. Everyone felt like shit after drinking. Why would it be good for you?
But the loner had looked past that and treasured the dull buzz. Now, though, the face was shifting. Safety. He shuffled over to the young man, woman, haze and leaned against the chair next to him. "What are you...?" He muttered. His sense of caution thrown to the wind, and his sense of smell dulled by metal brine. As if he could tell it was a werewolf. But Indira was somewhere in that thing. Even if he had to fight to bring her out.

It was pain in the ass. Whatever's the world wished to call this insufferable feeling. Pointless vendettas and an angry crowd. That was what Aslad Village was at this point. A smudged point of angry people who'd do anything to get rid of pests like him. And the same story would be relayed. Over, and over, and over again.
Just like this conversation.
With a faraway look, he'd burst his own bubble. But this haze was beginning to be more than just a a time to relax. It was a hinderance in his usual speaking tendencies. Whatever's those were. What was normal? Drunk Tarot wasn't normal. Hell, even regular Tarot wasn't normal. Too many secrets to keep, to hide. Makes it hard to bare yourself to the world. And who would want to do that? And this guy was just spouting nonsense about places not being good enough. Just like how regular Tarot wasn't really good enough either.
"Things...? You're beginning to sound like...like a fortune teller who knows things I don't. Haha! ...What a fearsome thought! Someone who knows more than me..." He trailed off, sliding the old wooden chair back. Flinching at the harsh squeak of wood against more wood. Great mixture really.
He slid onto leather and propped up his chin to stare into those green eyes as Indi— whatever it was, spoke. He didn't have dignity and he wasn't self-conscious. He'd stare all night if anyone would have let him.
"Like me, huh?" He went silent, the light in his eyes dimming and fading. Pools of dark left behind. "You don't look drunk. Stupid small towners..." He added, his speech beginning to slur, turning into harsh mumbles, filled to the brim with air. "Predator...Starting to sound all the more foolish, Kenji." He finished, his name clicked into the air like he didn't believe him. Sarcasm, wasn't that regular Tarot? Who knows? A drunk man didn't.
"Where'd you want ta' talk anyway?"
