Silver Creek 7453496V

Hidden among the trees, deep in the forest, you can find a small, yet long creek. It's water is fresh and clean and wolves often come here to have a drink, take a bath or relax by the water. It is peaceful and quiet and you can always be alone with your thoughts here or just stop thinking for a few minutes or why not hours? The stream ends in the moon pool.

Kenji wrapped in a blanket and places in a secure place away from the water, between two rocks. The mother then tucked the note into the blanket and let out a howl. "My child I cannot raise you, you would not survive as loner and I want what will be best for you. I pray you live a life free from strife." The mother said and then kissed her child one last time before she took off and never looked back. Kenji cried for a loss he didnt understand.

Indira had kept running after she had fled the vampires territory. The trees had begun to thickened but the sound of restless water was nearby, probably a stream. A scent hit her sensitive wolf nose and she skirted behind a tree to hide, however Indira wasn't successful in this attempt because her hind-legs and tail were still showing. Tilting her head she sniffed the air again. The adult scent was gone but another wolf scent layered with milk still lingered. Curious, Indira crept out from behind the tree with her sandy fur bristling and followed her nose to a crevice where a blanket bundle withheld the milky wolf scent. *A baby...I wonder if it's still alive.* Indira thought as she poked the blanket with her cold nose. *If it is alive, I'll take it to the werewolves. They can raise a child better than I can* She decided.

Kenji kept crying until he felt something poke him. He reached out his little hands and grabbed the nose of the wolf. It felt wet under his fingers and liking the feel of it he started to laugh while he patted Indira's nose. He wasnt scared of the creature in front of him for some reason.

Blinking, Indira scented the cub as it played with her muzzle. It had the faded adult scent mixed with it's own milky smell, as well as the odd hint of urgency. The mother must have left in a hurry, maybe fleeing from something. That would explain why the little baby was hid inbetween two rocks and why it was left alone. Carefully, Indira pulled her face away from the little boy and closed her jaws firmly on the edges of the blanket so that the cub was nestled in a comfortable cradle. Indira turned around with the baby and blankets slowly swinging from her mouth and began to pad away to the werewolf dens at a steady pace.

Kenji started to cry when the wolf moved away and picked him up. But soon quieted down when they started moving. He was bouncing up and down and enjoyed the feeling. He of course had no idea where the wolf was taking him but he now had no choice but to wait until the wolf stopped.

Jake padded up to the stream. He was far downstream from Kal. He looked into the water, watching the reflection of the black wolf in front of him. Suddenly he growled, slapping a paw at the water. After a moment he lapped up the water, the trotted over to a tree. He shifted and sat by a tree, looking at the moon. "Why aren't I enough for you Rai? Why?" He asked. He half asked Nyx, the goddess of the moon.

Rai found Jake sitting by a tree. It took her awhile to get to where he was, not because she didn't know where he went but because when bitten or scratched by someone experiencing moonlust, it takes twice as long for the wounds to heal and close. So she limped over to where he was, well close to where he was. She would be lying if she said she was scared of him at the moment, considering he was close to almost killing her. "Jake, please I want you to understand something. your first love/crush is somebody that you will never forget. and they will always hold a special place in your heart. and nobody can change that, not even my love for Kenji's or Nyx. But the fact that I chose you over my life in crimson fang, should let you know that I chose you or Casper. But as much as I loved you, I will not give up my position, because there isn't anybody else who is fit for the job. I will always love you Jake but I cannot be your mate, I'm sorry but I have made my decision."

Jake looked at her, face blank. Suddenly it contorted into a rage, and he snarled. "No matter what I do it won't be enough, will it? Never! No matter what I do! Fine, maybe I'll be able to show you the pain I feel." He snarled, then darted off again, changing into a wolf mid stride. His black fur disappeared into darkness, and he was soon out if sight.

Raizil flinched when Jake yelled at her then stormed off. She had never seen this side of him before, this was not the gentle , cocky werewolf that she had fallen for. She followed after him, hoping that he wasn't going to do any too foolish, knowing his state of mind right now. Rai chalked it up as the after effects of moonlust.

Samuel arrived pretty fast than he thought. He stopped on the left shore and raised his head a little. Sniffing the scent around he could easily tell who was last here. The man rolled his eyes in annoyance before getting forward. He jumped over the fallen tree, which laid above the river and with slow and careful steps moved towards its middle. When he reached it he squat and soon sat on the hard core. Sam took a deep breath enjoying the fresh air filling his lungs. After that he laid back on the tree, using one of his hands as a pillow and the other he let floating above the clear water. His golden eyes followed each move of the tree branches before he closed them slowly. A tiny smile appeared on his face as he felt the sun beams gently embracing his skin. The peaceful melody of the water made the young man feel relaxed. Sam really did enjoyed those lonely and quiet moments of his.

Raizil arrived at the creek and ust watched Samuel, it was rare that she ever got to see him so relax and peaceful. Rai new that Sam would make a great alpha, but the question is would they ever love each other. She could see herself probably falling for him in the future, but she didnt he would her. She decided to get him back for scaring her this morning. Rai still in wolf form jumped over the log into the water and stared to spray water at Samuel. " there you go Sam, a bath for you. Arent I nice."she said trying to keep a straight face but when she saw his expression she couldnt hold it in anymore and she let out her laughter.

Sam opened his eyes quickly, not feeling quite pleased by the splash which his alphasent him. He frowned a little before jumping into the creek. He rised his eyebrow and then spoke calmly and obviously not friendly. "What was that for, if I may ask?" he pierced her with his golden eyes. Why was she doing it? Is she trying to act like a small pup or something? Samuel sure did not like that. If you're an alpha then act like one. She sould think about her clan, fining a future mate and of course her heir.
Thinking about these things, the beta male began wondering what did the moon goddess told Raizil.

Raizil sighed in annoyance at her beta.  She was only trying to lighten the mood. Plus she was trying to decide if the moon goddess was truly right in her decision.  "It was for scaring the hell out of me this morning.  But since you dont find it funny i will move on to business."  Raizil shifted back to her human form and she was without a scratch even the scratch that Eliza had made was gone. "I have spoken with the moon goddess and as you can see she has healed my injuries. " Rai paused and blushed slightly as she remembered the other things she had talked with the moon goddess about.

She cleared her throat and continued,  "Samuel beta of Moonclan,  you are a strong and loyal wolf and i have been honored to have you as a beta. But it has come to my attention that you are not fit for your role." She kinda wanted to laugh as she watched Sam's face. "I have not missed the fact that you seem to have difficulty listening to me ordering you around. I dont want that, i dont want you to feel like your uncomfortable.  Therefore not as your alpha but as a female,  I'm asking will you Samuel be my mate. I know that you dont really like me, and i dont know that much about you. But i also have a clan to run and you are the best and only choice  for the job. And who is to say that we wont come to love each other in the future. " Raizil could not help the blush that came to her face throughout her whole speech. Her usual red eyes met the piercing golden of his, a she waited for a reply.

Sam tilted his head left not wanting to meet Raizil's redish eyes. He felt strange when he met them. Like something in him was about to erupt. His hand slowly moved along his neck as he stretched his muscules.
When their speech moved towards her meeting with the moon goddess, the young man once again pierced her with his golden eyes. It seems they discussed something important which she had to tell him. The alpha began talking about Sam's role and how he didn't fit in it. Suddenly his fingers clenched into a fist as an unpleasant frown appeared on his face. Was she serious? Not only was he made a beta while he had to take the front row and now he wasn't good for it. No matter the small feelings he had for her right now the boy wanted to bite her as hard as he could.
However his face softened the moment she continued. A mate? Well that was something he did not expect. He always thought that Jake was the only one who owned her heart but it seemed he was wrong. This was the perfect alternative to get to the highest post he desired for and of course have astrong heir who will inherite him and Raizil.
"I have to say that I didn't expet such an offer from you, Raizil. Thank you for picking me among all the others. I will be your mate in order to keep the clan safe and strong. Abut the feelings, well... Only time will show."
Samuel moved towards the girl. He took her hand in his and kissed it.

Raizil felt relieved that Sam had accepted her as his mate. She looked on at him in surprise when he kissed her hand and couldn't help the blush that covered her face. "Well thank you for agreeing to be my mate. There is one more thing that i must say though." Raizil stepped back and kneeled before him. Rai was humbling herself before him. "What happen with Jake will never happen again. "

"So I, Raizil alpha of Moonclan promise to remain loyal and honor my mate Samuel alpha of Moonclan. To be with him in times of weakness and greatness. To put him above myself and if i so break my bond to him. May the might of the Moon Goddess Nyx be brought upon me. With these words i do pledge to thee." As Rai spoke the ancient words of the mate bond her stunning ruby colored eyes held the striking golden ones of her new mate that she was pledging herself to.

Its only til this moment did she realize she never bonded herself to Jake. It was probably why when he left she didnt feel worse then if they had bonded. She was doing it with Sam because she wanted him to know that she would not make the same mistake she did with Jake with him. She would be loyal to him and she acknowledged him as her equal.

Perhaps wandering around in the forest in the first lace was a bad idea. Another would be ignoring the weak scent marks. Assuming their owners were gone. But walking towards voices? Tarot didn't seem to even be in his right mind anymore. The quiet mumbling of a creek caught his attention, and he had slowly followed it downstream. Two humans, he assumed, were playing around in some water. He almost called out to them to chastise them, but then it turned into some kind of...love confession? He couldn't make out much of it, but names and some weak laughter could be made out. He took a seat on his own log and hugged one of his legs, letting the other dangle off the edge. He pondered the situation for a bit before a wind blew heir scent towards him. He suddenly gawked at the pair of werewolves. 'Shoot! I'm in their territory!!' He froze, his jaw hanging open, before swallowing loudly and slipping off the log to hide behind it. He hugged his legs with a morbid mask plastered onto his face.

Samuel felt somehow not on place. He knew that one day he had to get a mate, but never expected to be Raizil. Even though he didn't like her at first it wasquite obvious that she is beautiful and strong alphs wolf. A woman that truly deserved a good man by her side. Jake seemed fine till the day he disappeared with the pup they called 'son' even though it wasn't exactly true. However they seemed like a quite good family, if the could be even called a family.
Sam raised his head and took a deep breath. It was his turn to saythe words after Rai. "I, Samuel, an alpha of Moonclan, promise to remain loyal and honor to my mate Raizil, an alpha of Moonclan. To be with her in times of weakness and greatness. To put her above myself and if I break my bond to her may the might of the Moon Goddess Nyx be brought upon me. With these words I do vow to you."
The only things they had to do now was the bond ceremony with the blood but to behonest Samuel wasn't in a hurry. He prefere that to happen on a fullmoon and when they were on their own. Because right now, they weren't.
A breeze, which playfully ran around enabled him to catch the scent of an intruder. It wasn't a human which was in some way good, having in mind that he or she could hear their words. But the fact it was one of them, made him a bit worried. With a single sign to Raizil, the wolf man quickly moved towards the place, where the scent was stronger. Sam looked at the log before skipping it. He turned around and looked at the young boy, who was hiding carefully behind it. Taking out the stamina sword, he put the blade under his chin.
"Mind telling me what are you doing in Moonclan's territory?" he asked calmly, though his eyes gave off only coldness and irritation.

Raizil stood and smiled as Sam recited the words back to her. When the wind blew she indeed caught the scent of a loner male. So the rest of the bonding ceremony would have to wait until they were in private.

Rai followed after Samuel and for right now she wanted to know how he would approach the intruder. Satisfied with his show of dominance, Rai decided to speak up." Any why would you stay when you realize where you were at? "

The charcoal haired man released a low sigh of relief when no reaction came from the two wolves. He clutched at his chest, trying to calm his racing heartbeat. Tarot decided to make his escape once the two had left. He had closed his dark brown eyes trying to relax, when the biting cold of metal pressed against his throat. The surprise cause him to inhale sharply, ears popping out the top of his head. He winced at his reaction. "I still can't get a hold of my transformations.' He thought, his gaze flickering back at the male and female. His ears flattened in exasperation and irritation, both directed at himself and the pair of Weres. He swallowed, the sword digging deeper in his throat. He had some ideas, but it would be best going with the peaceful option. He didn't want to be crawling back to town covered in blood.
"Wandering, and lady, you 'ought to check your borders more often. The smell of those vampires is stronger than yours." He replied sharply, his lip lifting in a snarl of irritation. He lifted his hand and pushed the sword away from him with his index finger, the static from his skin jumping across the sleek, silver surface and making him shake his hand at the painful feeling sprouting in his fingertips. He managed to nick himself on the finger at the same time. He heaved another sigh and wiped his finger on his black pants, looking at the two with a monotonously irritated mask plastered into his face. He ran his thumb across the smooth surface of one of his rings. "You can hardly tell there's a bloody border there." He stood up, brushing his pants from the sand and moss by the stream. "Mistook you for a pair of human love birds." He mumbled mostly to himself, but he could tell they heard him.

Raizil listen as the loner went on about how the scent at the borders was of vampires. She didn't say anything, because with everything going on the last thing on her mind was to mark the border. Though what he said my be true she didn't appreciate being talked down to like she was some Onega. She bared her fangs and growled lowly in warning. "Do not insult me by trying to belittle me. And its not lady it is alpha to you loner." She said as she glared at him.
Rai watched as he looked like he was going to leave, which she would been grateful for. She would not let this stranger see but he unnerved her somewhat. She wanted him gone and as fast as possible. But at his last sentence her anger spiked.

Raizil never thought in all her life would she ever be compared to a human. Granted she was half human but Rai thought herself more wolf than anything. She hunted as a wolf, thought like a wolf, and was more than always in her wolf form. She considered what he said the biggest insult.
Her eyes glowed yellow and canines and claws had lengthened. Her hands were so tightly balled in fist that blood ran down her hand and unto the forest floor. Her bangs fell over her eyes as her head was now bowed and her body shook with the need to shift. She let her power fill the area. She wanted so badly to do nothing but tear into the hide of this male wolf. But she was alpha now and with the title and position came self control and responsibility. She didn't know who this guy was, or if he had multiple allies that he could have aid him in an attack on the clan. She didn't want to risk the safety of her clan. So she took a brave step back so that she was beside Samuel again, seeing as she had gotten somewhat in the mans face earlier. " I believe its time to send this "visitor" on his way Sam." She said to her new mate. Her voice was dark and low.

The cloaked figure watched as the female bristled in pure fury. He cursed himself, yet another remake came to mind but he kept it to himself. 'Who peed in your Cheerios...' The exasperated note making him relieved at the choice to shut up. He closed his eyes, willing himself to shut the mouth to keep from condemning himself any more. 'I just lit a fire under my ass...' He thought, the space between his eyebrows covered in deep wrinkles. The female growled lowly, stabbing him mentally several times over with her prickly words. His ears twitched as each strained syllable reached them. He swallowed and exhaled. His eyes staring back at the pair of Alphas, or so he assumed. "That would be great, thank you."

Sam listened carefully to the boy. Definitely the comments regarded to the vampires did not sit well with him and this was demonstrated immediately. On his face appeared slight sign of dissatisfaction and irritation while he growled softly as if to himself. Recently, the dark-haired young man had no free time to waste walking around the area and reinforce the scent, which clearly showed in whose territory the intruders entered.
The man slowly relaxed the grip on his sword, and then put it back in place. He looked at Raizil, who didn't seem pleased with the response of the foreigner. Even though they were still not related the anger could be seen clearly on her face. If he had to be honest, Sam found the girl's behaviour quite amusing. If he was at the place of the boy, he would have instantly confronted Rai in such a way that would embarrass her. But now playing the role of her mate he had to protect her.
Be compared to a human definitely wasn't accepted  positively by the dark-haired man, but he didn't show in any way to the intruder that he felt uncomfortable. It would be a stupid move, which would only drain his nerves which he thought would be needed in the future.
It was clear that if the boy stayed even a little longer, Razil would hurt him. Sam definitely was not up for a real battle, knowing the responsibilities he had towards the territory of Moonclan. So without waiting a second longer, he stepped forward and gave a sign to the black-haired man. "Go." one simple word which was said quite calm was enough to make the 'visitor' start walking. Sam was planning to escort the boy to the village and then check the borders, though he doubted he would be the first to do it, having in mind the words of the young man and Raizil's reaction.

Raizil allowed herself to cool down as Sam took control of the situation. She was ashamed of her actions, she should not have acted that way. Especially in front of a loner. She decided to leave before she made things worst. She might as well go and check the border. "Sam I'm going to check things out at the border. " she told him, although she couldnt meet his eyes. She knew what she did was wrong and she fear his reaction of her actions. They had just completed the oath of mates and yet she had already acted a fool. Rai turned and shifted amd started walking towards the border. When she was far enough that she hoped nobody could hear s ghost e let out a frustrated howl.

The werewolf bounded onto the scene. The sound of water rushing over rocks was soothing, but the unpleasant sounds of anger sounded from the other side ruined the peaceful scene. With a look of exasperation he hopped over onto the other side, shifting in the process. He skidded to a stop in the shore, his hands instantly clenched as he stared at the foreign werewolf. With arched eyebrows he watched as the two wolves dismissed him without a word. He was very skeptical as the pierced man twitched his ears irritably in their direction. "...Foolish." He said without hesitation, his rasp edging at the end. He glanced at Samuel and Raizil with a frown. Flexing his gloved hands he walked up to the wolf with an emotionless face. He grabbed his ears roughly, knowing it would hurt much more then he'd think. Then he stared steering him towards the town.
