The Village Empty The Village

The Village 7114706k

A small town in the suburbs, away from the city noise and fast progress. Population, it is small and hardly variable. However, it is beautiful and all the people are friendly. The buildings in the center are high and built to the smallest precision. The Marble Square makes the town look more noble than the big cities. It is clean and cosy. At night it is usually peaceful and safe. However behind the town's walls a deadly danger threatens the townfolks.

The Village Empty Re: The Village

Another day was passing by as if it never really existed. The last rays of the sun touched the roofs of the highly built buildings while the first stars appeared with a slight light over the darkening sky. The streets of the small town became even more vivid. The elders have already left their workplaces and now were walking in a sluggish manner to their homes. The youth, however, were on their ways to the already opened taverns and brothels. Carriages in which were sitting young dowagers with tons of make up on their faces, were ready to show some flesh tonight and get another old fly in their webs. A smile appeared on the face of the man, who was walking slowly on the left side of the street.
He looked quite well, actually pretty much attractive for the eye. His haircut had a medium lenght and its' black colour made his pale skin stand out. Part of his locks made it hard for the others to get a sight of his shiny blue eyes. He was tall, with wide shoulders and thin body. Over his body he wore dark brown shirt with three-quarter sleeves and stipped neckpiece; long black pants which were well combined with the black formal coat and the black leather shoes. A slight smile decorated his whole image. If any of his old aqcuaintances could see him now, they would never really recognise Casper in him. For that was who he really was. Casper, an ex-king of Crimson Fang, an ex-lover, an ex-drunkard... There was not a single trace or sign of his old pitty and miserable life. He was a new person now, a better one in some way.
The light from the streetlamps enlightened the wet asphalt as the sky began growing darker and darker. The man stood infront of the gray-coloured door which led to his apartment. He was not ready to enter his home, not yet. There were so many young girls out there, who were waiting to get their blood sucked out. And he could not disappoint them. They were such an easy prey. It was enough to just give him a glimpse of secrecy and they were ready to give him their souls, flesh and blood. The tip of his tongue ran over his lips on the thought of this. Casper hid his cold long fingers in the pockets of his coat and began lingering to the nearest club his eye could see. Little did he know, however, who he was about to meet tonight.

when Kenji arrived he saw him, he saw the hunger in his eyes, the way he walked as if stalking his prey. But he knew that this man was good and how much he would regret his decision later on. He knew he had to stop this cuz if he hurt those humans he could risk exposing them all. But what to do with him afterwards, should he turn him in to crimsonfang or hide him away. Kenji knew his mothers secret, how she held love in her eyes when they went to crimsonfang to watch the battle between Casper and some girl he turned. Although Samuel pretended that it wasn't there he doubted that he knew that his mother was once the beta to Casper. As Samuel met his mother long after she became alpha. He sighed he knew deep down if he turned him over to the vampire even he would be disappointed in himself. So he causally walked up to Casper, " Casper long time no see. I have to say your return seems to have escaped some. And I would think you care to keep it that way. If you continue walking to that club to satisfy your needs that no doubt needs to be taken care of, you will put all of us in danger. I offer you asylum and to hunt on our lands. Do not worry about my mother and her mate. I will deal with them. What say you, King Casper?"

Collier wasn't one for midnight outings. His eyes scanned the horizon, a sort of wariness that didn't belong in taverns. He was out of place, but that sort of thing wasn't what he minded. He eyed his younger sister, twin really, and watched as she disappeared into the clods of people gathering in the night. Worry fringed on his brow and the sticky residue of the day's work still remained on his skin. The chill of night didn't help how inadequately dressed he was. Short sleeves and gloves did little against the gales, and what might one say about the mines?

The werewolf huffed. He could accurately relay his normal tendencies, there was no need to stray from something so small and simple, there were bigger things something like he and Sophie had to worry about, but how little self-confidence brewed under his skin was unnerving. He felt exposed, not because of the wind, once again mentioned for whipping around his hair, but because he was alone. And that sister of his was supposed to be his "guardian angel" of sorts, and he the same to her. But he couldn't quite refuse the girl. She and her excitement, going off to get a drink and relax, her work was just as strenuous. Tending to the home and searching for what they needed was something Cole found tedious and unbearably difficult. Really, the name Hope seemed to fit the girl's aura much better than whatever their parents seemed to think up. Whoever those strangers were.

But his attention was garnered by smells crowding over the noise and the patter of footsteps. "Sophie!" He hissed, eyes darting to find the head of black hair. Nothing special, but certainly different than the browns and blondes he often saw. "Forest savages. We need to get going." He added when the head still took it's time. He glanced out the door, his Adam's apple bobbing with worry and his eyes beginning to blink and itch. "Sophie!" He called again, his tongue darting out to lick at dry, chapped lips. A drink would have to wait for another evening. Because he couldn't get himself or his sister caught up in whatever business this was. His parents had their own dealings with them. Or maybe they didn't. But Collier wouldn't be the first.
